Jean Genet - Quatre heures à Chatila 7“ 28757
In 1982 French writer and poet Jean Genet (1910-1986) visited Beirut and was one of the first foreigners to witness the cruelties libanese militias committed on the arab (palestinian) refugees in the Sabra and Schatilia camps. His text "Quatre heures à Chatila“ (4 hours in Shatila) is a minutious and poetic account of what Genet’s eyes encountered and endured for 4 hours that day.

The chosen excerpts of the original french text are read by Elli Medeiros, subtly backed up with sounds produced by Pharoah Chromium, Osman Arabi, and Rahel Preisser.

Edition of 200 copies.
